Chapter 5. Duties of passengers

• 23. A passenger is obliged to:
• 23.1. carry out boarding (drop-off) only after a full stopping of the vehicle from a boarding spot, if none is provided — from sidewalk or verge;
• 23.2. belt up himself while being a moving power-driven vehicle equipped with safety belts, except for the instances specified in indents three and four of part two of sub-clause 9.5 of clause 9 of these Rules, and when riding a motorcycle, moped — use a clasped crash helmet;
• 23.3. observe safety measures provided by the construction of the vehicle and rules of carriage of passengers for a relevant type of vehicle.
• 24. A passenger is prohibited to:
• 24.1. distract the driver from driving the vehicle during its movement and/or interfere with driving of the vehicle;
• 24.2. block the closing of doors of the vehicle, and during its movement — lean out of window openings, open doors of the vehicle;
• 24.3. when moving in a goods vehicle with on-board platform, stand, sit on its platform borders or cargo projecting above its platform sides.
